Serena Damiano was born on 1977 in Turin, where she graduated at the Superior School of the Arts and at the Politechnic School of Architecture.

During her studies she has improved her painting tecnique with maestro Giancarlo Aleardo Gasparin.

With the birth of her first son Jacopo she began making portraits of him and of many other children.

Now she makes portraits at commission when her son is sleeping or is walking around the hills with his grandfathers.

She lives in a house full of books  without television on Turin's hill.
